Welcome to the Christmas edition of ONEnews! Another year is over and this month's Newsletter is a slightly different format as we take a look back over the year. Here in the ONEseniors office, we don't wind down at Christmas time, we are keeping up the pace by setting ourselves new challenges! We have been asking for your feedback on Prepaid mobile services and we will be launching our very own range of Prepaid plans in the next few days - look out for more information in your inbox!
Phew what a year it has been! Christmas is a time of reflection so we’re going to take a look back on all the things ONEseniors got up to in 2011! Last year we brought you the all-in-ONE fixed cost plan, this year we brought you ADSL broadband from just $9.95! Helping us achieve our aim of making Broadband affordable for all. We’ve run some great competitions from recommend a friend and win a TV to win a year’s free broadband, and we will continue to run more in the new year...Watch this space! Our Facebook page got over 1,000 fans and we are now on our way to 2,000! We have offered our existing customers lots of great deals including 1 month free on Mobile Broadband services, free Dialup, and free phones on our all-in-ONE plan, as well as broadband speed upgrades for no extra fee. We’ll keep bringing you more great offers throughout 2012, there will be something for everyone! We launched our E-support service so that you can contact us by email through your Members Area, and we improved our procedures to help us respond to customers more efficiently and more effectively than ever before. As a result of your feedback, we relocated our call centre and are seeing some great positive feedback from you (more about that later on!). We also launched our new website www.oneseniors.com.au with a much more comprehensive help section, and we gave you a new and improved homepage http://homepage.oneseniors.com.au which we hope you are enjoying using. Finally, remember our naming competition? Well after an unexpected result we decided not to change our name as so many of you were happy with it the way it was. However we will be making some small changes to the way ONEseniors looks with a fresh new logo. We are sad to announce that Arty, Mavis and Margaret will soon be fully retired from the ONEseniors website and will be replaced with fresh new faces who better represent our Members. We hope you like the new look - coming soon in 2012!  Thank you to everyone who voted in our Facebook poll to help us choose which charity to donate to this year. Last year we donated to the Make a Wish foundation. This year you have decided that we will donate to Aged and Community Services who represent 1100 not-for-profit organisations within the Aged Care industry. The Aged Care industry comprises nursing homes, hostels, home care and nursing services, retirement villages, independent living units and seniors’ housing. We would also like to take this opportunity to inform you of the expected timings if you place orders before Christmas: We will endeavour to send Mobile Phone Handsets and Mobile Broadband modems up until 23rd December, however this will depend on our stock levels. We will begin despatching again from 3rd January 2012. ADSL modems will continue to be despatched directly from our supplier over the festive period, subject to public holidays and reduced driver availability for deliveries.
This month we are looking back over the past year of statistics and want to say a big thank you once again to everyone who has taken the time to fill in one of these surveys. Your feedback enables us to continually review and improve our plans and services that we provide to you, as well as improving the level of customer service that we provide.
As some of you will have noticed, we have made a dramatic change to our call centre over the past couple of months and we hope that now our new staff are getting settled in you will have an improved experience when you call us.
