Double-click the My Computer icon.
Double-click the Dial-Up Networking folder.
Double-click the Make New Connection icon.
Delete the contents of the Type a name for the computer you are dialing field, and type a name for the connection (i.e. MyAccount).
Click the Next button.
In the Area code field, type the area code for your access number.
In the Telephone number field, type your access number. An access number can be found on our Access Number Search page.
Note:
Remember to check with your local telephone company to make sure that the access number you choose is a local toll-free call.
When you enter the access number, type it exactly as you would dial it from your home phone.
If you are dialing from a hotel, office, or other phone system that requires you to dial a digit such as 9 to get an outside line, insert that number before the access number.
Click the Next button.
Click the Finish button.
Click your connection icon. (Example: MyAccont).
From the File menu, choose Create Shortcut.
Click the Yes button.
Right click your MyAccont connection icon and select Properties.
Uncheck the box next to Use area code and Dialing Properties.
Click the OK button.
Double-click your MyAccont connection icon.
In the Username field, type your entire email address (e.g., user@isp.com.au).
In the Password field, type your password.
Note: Remember, your password is case sensitive. (Make sure your CAPS LOCK button is off!)
Check the box next to Save password if you would like your password saved.
Click the Connect button.
